5785 Madrichim Team Application

Beth-El Religious School

MADRICHIM TEAM APPLICATION (5785)

Welcome to the Beth-El Religious School Madrichim Team! Our Madrichim are Dugmaot (role models) who are dedicated to assisting our teachers and students each Sunday morning. Our Madrichim work closely with our amazing faculty and students in a variety of ways. We see this as a beautiful partnership that helps everyone involved. Not only do our Madrichim help support our Religious School, we also offer our Madrichim the special opportunity to further develop their leadership, organizational, teaching and communication skills. Our Madrichim gain a great deal of positive work experience in a special place we all consider to be a second home. It is our hope that our Madrichim will take the professional skills they have developed at Beth-El with them as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. We can’t wait to welcome you to our Madrichim Team!

Madrichim Agreement

Madrichim hours are 9:15am - 12:00pm on Sunday mornings.

Madrichim are expected to attend all Faculty Meetings and Trainings approximately once per month unless told otherwise. Meetings and trainings are held either before or after Religious School.

The Beth-El Religious School is a fun, vibrant, and exciting place where our children come each week to learn, grow and make beautiful Jewish memories that will last them a lifetime. Our faculty and I are dedicated to creating a nurturing and experiential Jewish educational program that will excite and engage our youth, and it is with great pride that I invite you all to join us for what promises to be yet another spectacular year ahead!

At the Beth-El Religious School, we strive to inspire our students to lead Jewish lives guided by the study of Torah, God, Prayer, G’milut Chasadim and Tikkun Olam. As a member of our teaching team, I understand that I am responsible for helping to create the learning experiences, positive environment and developing the relationship with my students which will enable them to meet this goal. I promise to do my best to provide an enriching experience for the class/es to which I am assigned. I agree that my presence and involvement in each class is vital and necessary. I promise to work professionally with the classroom teacher in order to promote teamwork and a successful class. I will remain transparent, always discussing any concerns, challenges and/or successes I have with the teacher and/or the Director of Education. I will follow all school policies and safety protocols. I understand that if I am unable to attend on any given Sunday, I will contact both my teacher and the Director of Education in advance. I will follow Religious School guidelines regarding attendance, cell phone usage, attire, and break times. I also understand that I am responsible for reading all weekly emails sent out by the teacher and Director of Education.
